First of all let me state clearly that I am not one of those people who attends Star Wars and Star Trek conventions, in fact i’ve never been to one yet despite what you might think looking at my tee-shirt and photo. If I ever did go to a convention it would be dressed as a Klingon, though would have to draw a line when it comes to learning and speaking the language.
Perhaps all of this is due to the excitement of finally meeting Darth Vadar unexpectedly during our trip to London this weekend. It was an epic dual, a battle between the forces of Good (Myself of course in this case) and Evil, our lightsabers colliding with that phased humming sound as we do battle. Enough cheese to cover 3 large Pizza’s and a smile at the camera thrown in for extra good measure.
Ok so you might think I am rather sad for walking around London in a Darth Vadar tee-shirt but at least I wasn’t dressed as the man himself I can take comfort in this at least, or perhaps, I am on that descending trip to the dark side of the force – in the words of Yoda "remember your failure at the cave".
